Two unrelated games are free to keep forever right now with Far Cry 3 and Surviving Mars both available for a limited time.

Surviving Mars is free on Steam. Simply go to the store page for the game here and click on “add to account”. The game will then be available to download through the Steam client.

This giveaway ends soon looking at the these two games with the offer only available until 19:00 local time.

It should also be noted that this is a “while supplies last” deal. At the time of writing it is still available, however.

The last thing to note is that Steam Trading Cards will not drop for this free title.

“There will be challenges to overcome. Execute your strategy and improve your colony’s chances of survival while unlocking the mysteries of this alien world. Are you ready? Mars is waiting for you,” reads the official description for the game.

Far Cry 3 is the more recognisable of the two games here with the registration page for the free game available here.

You have slightly more time to snag this one with the giveaway ending at 08:30 local time on 11th September.

Like Surviving Mars getting the game is rather simple and is a one click affair if you’re already logged into your Ubisoft account on PC.

Far Cry 3 can seem a bit dated in 2021 but it created the blueprint that all games in the series have followed since then, for better and for worse.
