Marvel’s Avengers celebrates anniversary by coming to Xbox Game Pass

Marvel’s Avengers launched on 4th September last year and, to continue its celebrations this month, this title will be available on Xbox Game Pass.

From 30th September 2021, console, cloud and PC users of Xbox Game Pass will be able to access the Crystal Dynamics / Square Enix venture.

Games usually arrive on Game Pass in their base form with post-release paid content locked away. For Marvel’s Avengers all gameplay content that has been released has been free, so that will also be available on Game Pass for no extra money.

DLC and expansions around Black Panther, Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, Black Widow, the Super-Adaptoid and more are all included here.

The only content that Game Pass players are not getting is eight DLC skins based on the Avengers Endgame movie.

For those who would like to outright buy the game it is on sale on most platforms right now. It’s 50 percent off on PC (Steam), 25 percent off on PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 5 (PlayStation Store) and unfortunately still full price for Xbox One / Xbox Series X|S (Microsoft Store).

Those on PlayStation consoles can increase the discount to 50 percent if they have a PlayStation Plus membership.

The developers really want you to jump into the game right now by offering some big incentives during its anniversary month and even into next month.

“Our One-Year Anniversary Celebration for Marvel’s Avengers is winding down with a Quad XP event from September 30 to October 4. Playing missions during this time earns you quadruple experience, so you can level up your Heroes quickly! Our Hero Catalyst XP Boosters are additive to the 4x boost during this event,” writes Community Coordinator at  Crystal Dynamics, Hunter Wolfe.

This slight extension into October is really smart as it allows those playing the game through Game Pass to benefit too.
