Tales of Arise takes 3 spots in Steam’s top 10 sellers

Bandai Namco has had a stellar week on Steam as its new title Tales of Arise has managed to take up three spots in the top ten selling list.

This is as always, provided by the unofficial third party site Steam Database (SteamDB) that tracks the movements and trends on Valve’s storefront.

Every week SteamDB releases a list of the top ten sellers for the past seven days on the store, sharing what brought in the most revenue.

Despite launching just a few days ago on 9th September, Tales of Arise has dominated the competition.

Because of the way Steam works, where games with multiple editions are listed separately, Tales of Arise has managed to claim multiple spots.

There is the standard version of the game as well as Deluxe and Ultimate Editions available, which is how it managed to come first, second and sixth here:

  1. Tales of Arise
  2. Tales of Arise
  3. Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous
  4. Naraka: Bladepoint
  5. No Man’s Sky
  6. Tales of Arise
  7. NBA 2K22
  8. Battlefield V
  9. Life is Strange: True Colors
  10. Red Dead Redemption 2

Tales of Arise has beaten out Battlefield V, which was the top seller last week. The 2018 battlefield title managed to bring in a lot of new sales thanks to a massive 90 percent discount, a sale which has now ended. Despite this it has still managed to stick around on the list, albeit falling down to eighth.

Both NBA 2K22 and Life is Strange: True Colors launched on 9th September and managed to make some impressive sales before the end of last week. It’s not too surprising as both of these games are new entries in franchises that have a lot of fans eager to jump into the next instalment.

The biggest surprise on this list is the fact that the Valve Index VR Kit didn’t make it into the top ten. This piece of hardware has managed to be a top seller every week for months now making its absence particularly noticeable.
