Kaspersky launches security hub specifically for SMEs

Cybersecurity is a requirement for all businesses but unfortunately implementing adequate measures can become costly incredibly quickly.

For this reason Kaspersky has launched Cybersecurity on a Budget, a hub containing a set of actionable recommendations for any company but particularly for small business.

The hub consists of three sections where business owners can learn the best practices for safeguarding databases, how to maximise your limited IT budget and how to organise your company’s internal and external communication.

“At Kaspersky, we are confident that by following basic rules, organisations can achieve an essential level of cyber protection in a short time and without additional resources. Be it a small construction company, a cafe or a marketing agency, the platform works for anyone,” says executive vice president of the corporate business at Kaspersky, Evgeniya Naumova.

“The pandemic hit small businesses hard so finance and resources may be limited today. This is one more argument towards investing a few minutes to read and a few hours to implement recommendations that will then help to keep your business protected,” the executive VP adds.

The guidance contained in the hub is basic but as we’ve learned over the years, getting the basics right is incredibly important and why pay for this sort of guidance when Kaspersky is offering it up for free.

We do want to state, however, that this hub should serve as a starting point and should by no means be seen as if the job of securing your business is done.
