Domain Name Services and ZADNA partner up on training course for 2022

Small businesses looking to upskill employees in the realm of domain name systems (DNS) will want to take note of a new training programme developed by the ZA Domain Name Authority (ZADNA) and Domain Name Services.

The training programme will take place in Johannesburg on 15th February 2022 and in Cape Town on 21st February 2022. The training will consist of two sessions over three days and, importantly, only 18 participants can be accommodated at each location.

“The internet ecosystem is evolving in a manner that transforms the world and presents ever-increasing economic opportunities for entrepreneurs and SMMEs. Through this training, we strive to unlock the economic potential of local SMMEs in the domain name registration business and accelerate the creation of new players within the Internet Service Provider industry,” says chief executive officer at ZADNA, Molehe Wesi.

The training material is being developed by DNS experts and will cover the following:

  • The fundamentals of DNS
  • DNS terminology
  • DNS concepts
  • Installing and configuring DNS name servers

The training will carry a R1 000 booking fee per attendee and this fee will be repaid upon completion of the training. Should you not attend the training the fee will be non-refundable.
