Get the gift of Batman in this new Humble Bundle

It’s officially the holiday season and those looking for a cheap gift to give themselves can pick up a collection of Batman games in the latest Humble Bundle.

Here you’ll get the Arkham games as well as the LEGO Batman titles. The bundle can be bought here and is simply called “The WB Batman Collection”.

The tiers of the Humble Bundle can be found below. As always the higher tiers unlock the games in the lower tiers too.

Pay $2 (~R31.92) or more

  • Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition
  • LEGO Batman: The Videogame

Pay $8.38 (~R133.75) or more

  • Batman: Arkham VR
  • Batman: Arkham City GOTY Edition
  • LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes

Pay $10 (~R159.60) or more

  • Batman: Arkham Knight Premium Edition
  • LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
  • Batman: Arkham Origins

As for the value of this bundle it’s actually on the expensive side. This is partly due to the low value of the Rand against the Dollar right now, and partly because all of these titles have been discounted more in the past.

At one point in 2019 the Epic Games Store simply gave away six of these games for free too, so our concept of the value proposition of these games may be a bit skewed.

That being said the Humble Bundle is also about giving to charity and the default one here is the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

“Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds and awareness for 170 member hospitals that provide 32 million treatments each year to kids across the U.S. and Canada. Donations stay local to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than five billion dollars, most of it one dollar at a time through the charity’s Miracle Balloon icon,” reads the description of the organisation.

For those who have never touched the Arkham or LEGO Batman series this is, of course, a nice and easy way to collect them all with one purchase while supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, or any of the other charities available in the donations section of your purchase.
