LEGO set reveals Gargantos, America Chavez in Doctor Strange 2

A new day a new unintentional Marvel reveal as LEGO mistakenly shows off America Chavez, Gargantos and even the Scarlet Witch, Wanda Maximoff all appearing in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

This isn’t some leak like Spider-Man: No Way Home, but instead LEGO putting something out into the public before it should have.

The official LEGO Building Instructions app has been updated with set number 76205, “Gargantos”. The pictures and description of the set are still available at the time of writing, but we have also preserved them on this page should they be removed.

“Gargantos, the giant, one-eyed monster, spots Doctor Strange, Wong and America Chavez and wriggles on its long, green tentacles towards the three heroes. Will the team’s special powers and weapons be enough to defeat the monster or will they get tangled up in tentacles? Only you can decide,” reads the set description.

This set is planned for release in 2022 and was discovered by several people a few hours ago. We’re surprised to see that the set is still available to view in the app so maybe this wasn’t an early reveal at all but LEGO simply getting their products in order before Multiverse of Madness launches in May 2022.

It’s not uncommon for LEGO sets to be on shelves a good few months before the movie they are based on is in cinemas.

America Chavez, who also sometimes goes by the name Miss America, was already revealed to be played by actress Xochitl Gomez. America Chavez and Wanda Maximoff were actually revealed to be in Multiverse of Madness many months ago, also because of some early merchandise.

For those not familiar with her the character has an introduction on the official Marvel website.

As for the tentacle monster Gargantos, it’s connected to the superhero Namor, so we may see this new movie introduce that character to the MCU too.

With all of this in mind it’s worth mentioning that LEGO sets being used as information on unreleased movies is a bit of a hit and miss affair. The most infamous of these is set 76008: Iron Man vs. The Mandarin: Ultimate Showdown which shows Iron Man 3 ending with the Mandarin fighting Tony Stark in what can only be described as  a golf cart with a flamethrower.

That being said LEGO leaks for Far From Home and No Way Home have been correct in the past. Yes, Spider-Man: No Way Home isn’t out yet, but the LEGO sets shown off for it have been proven accurate by trailers already.
