Tesla launches Cyberquad, for kids

Earlier this week Tesla launched the Cyberwhistle on its storefront. The Cyberwhistle is just that, a whistle that resembles the forthcoming Cybertruck and as is tradition, it was sold out shortly after being listed.

Now Tesla has launched an electric quad-bike for kids called the Cyberquad.

The quad-bike is powered by a lithium-ion battery that can yield approximately 15 miles (24km) at a top speed of 10 mph (16kmph). The top speed can be configured so that younger children don’t hurt themselves.

Unfortunately the Cyberquad only ships to 48 states in the continental US so even those in Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico can’t purchase this quad bike.

In fact, right now nobody can purchase the bike because they have sold out. Considering the quad has a price of $1 900 (~R30 000) that’s a rather impressive feat.

The frame of the quad is steel and features a cushioned seat and adjustable suspension with rear disk braking and LED light bars.

The vehicle the Cyberquad is modelled after, the Cybertruck, has had its release delayed to 2022 in August so a whistle and this quad-bike are the closest Tesla fans will get to the pickup for now.

As far as Tesla’s merchandise goes though, the quad-bike is far more useful than a whistle and likely better value than Tesla’s own tequila.
